Q&A: Ask Euphorie Vol. 3

In our third instalment of the 'Ask Euphorie' series, we're covering inspiration, alterations, and formal dresses!

What inspires all of you to do wedding dresses?

So, if you survey our whole team, there will only be a handful of answers to this split between us all. One reason you’ll hear, particularly from the design team, is that it’s an outlet for their creative expression. The designer team is at their peak when they’re free to create, design, and make gowns; it really is what they live for.

For the rest of us, it’s a mix of our love of craftsmanship, making garments, and being part of a team focused on the same goal combined with the freedom we all get working in an environment like this. We all love what we do, but we have lives outside of work and being part of a work culture with a four-day work week, flexibility, and an understanding that we’re a family. We’ll do what we can to ensure the other team Euphorie members can have a good work/life balance, making our work environment a great place for us all.

The combination of all these things becomes an inspiring force, a driving motivation for us to consistently create dream wedding dresses for incredible women expressing our love of creativity and craftsmanship while expanding to hire more women like us. It’s a win/win situation for us all!

I know a lot of this probably sounds like the cliche answer brands give out, but if you’ve met a Euphorie real bride, they’ll know & be able to tell you about it - it becomes pretty evident once you’ve interacted with any of our team members!

Are you still doing bridal alterations?

Unfortunately, due to such a tremendous influx of custom bridal projects, we’ve had to cease our alterations work (except for Euphorie gowns if a bride were to buy off the rack at our studio).

Why aren’t Euphorie gowns in stores anymore?

This is a question we’ve been asked a lot lately, and the answer is a simple one: ethically speaking, we cannot put our gowns in a store that isn’t our own without losing control of the prices brides pay for our dresses.

It’s critical for the brand values that we operate ethically, especially regarding how we price our products. We’ve chosen to only sell our wedding gowns directly, via both our studio and online, because it’s how we can keep prices fair for everyone.

When will you be making more custom formal dresses?

Keep an eye out for some exciting announcements at the end of 22! We’ll be bringing out the Euphorie formal collection AND opening our books back up for custom formal gowns!

If you've got any questions you'd like us to answer, drop them below & we'll add them to our next round of Ask Euphorie.
